My style- like the rest of my life- is fresh, bright, fun and clean. I’m old enough to differentiate fad from fashion and young enough to create timeless art from your wedding day. My couples share my vision and see us as so much more than guys with cameras.

Happy new year to all the newly engaged couples! Mark recently bought a ring at Israel Diamond and asked me to photograph his proposal. Kateri was so surprised, it took her a while to realize I was photographing them. She said YES! Congratulations!!!

Paradise is a pretty nice place to start a life together. The evening Wren and Benji wed on a beach in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, was simply perfect. The setting sun cast a pink glow on their faces. The shore sparkled with gentle waves. The palms of The Tides resort rustled slightly along the white sand beach. It was all so simple and beautiful and relaxed, thanks in large part to impeccable planning by Oklahoma City event maven Judy Lehmbeck. Everyone, especially the moms, looked super relaxed.

The Tides is an intimate resort, with its luxurious thatched villas nestled right in the midst of a tropical jungle where monkeys swing through the trees. Wren and Benji gathered about 120 of their closest friends and family there for an extra long weekend of carefree hanging out.  Okay, so there was a tense moment, when Benji stepped on an urchin about an hour before he needed to be stepping into his super suave Hadleigh’s slippers.  Even with all those spines still in his toe, he was beaming when Wren swept down that bamboo aisle. She looked so happy I thought she just might kick off her Valentino heels and run the rest of the way.

A candlelit poolside dinner followed the ceremony, and then the band took over. Soon everyone was dancing on the illuminated dance floor. A guy on stilts handed out funny hats and balloons. Out there, in the dark, away from the noise of crazy fun, the ocean kept its beat against the shore. The next morning I found a smooth rock there. It was shaped like a heart.  _ Kelly

Some weddings don’t need many words to describe why they were so much fun. Maddy and KJ were recently married at Philbrook. They really knew what they wanted and their wedding reflected that. It’s not every day we are asked to take photos of shoes, but this couple knew what they were doing. They had to great idea to have their wedding party all wear barefoot shoes. It was a beautiful wedding. Congratulations to the beautiful couple.

This was my first time photographing a bride in a short dress and i have to say, it was groovy. Now I don’t know if all brides could pull it off, but Jessica was stunning in it. Shannon Schroeder did a fantastic job on her makeup and the weather couldn’t have been any better out at The Silo.

The party started friday night with some great shots of the couple at the rehearsal dinner. The next day was even better. After photographing Jessica getting ready,  we all headed outside for a fantastic reveal with just the bride and groom. I always love these moments of the honest emotion between the bride and groom. Plus, the pictures always turn out fantastic.

There isn’t much more to say. The French Bouquet did an amazing job with the flowers, while Omni Lighting set the mood. Dave and the Wavetones kept the guests entertained late into the night. Jessica rocked the short dress.

Deanna and Brett were married in Oklahoma City at a beautiful venue which has recently started doing weddings. The Devon Boathouse is the new home to Oklahoma City University rowing and kayaking but the building is magnificent as a weddings venue.

 Deanna and Brett did not see each other pre-ceremony. They had a reception upstairs and a modern reception followed downstairs. Amy Cakes created a show-stopper.

It rained on and off thru the evening and the light was magnificent. I convinced the bride and groom to follow me outside (in the rain) and we worked quickly to get some of the evening’s signature shots. They were great to work with and it was a privilege to be there. ~ Ace

laura and todd were recently married. the party started at southern hills country club where we had a little time to play and get some groovy photos around the club. we hopped on a bus, went to sharp chapel on tu’s campus and returned to southern hills for a phenomenal party. boom kinetic kept us entertained and the evening ended with the newlyweds leaving in a vintage corvette!

Usually surprises aren’t good on your wedding day, but Angie and Jeff loved the new camera angle we shot from. They didn’t notice until they were lighting their unity candle. The best part was that no one else could see or hear the camera!

Lasting Impressions Tulsa had Post Oak Lodge beautifully decorated and DJ Connection had the place rockin’ all night.
